I'm Eugene McVeigh, a Director of Photography / Lighting Cameraman living in Northern Ireland. As a UK-Ireland based professional I have worked in the Broadcast & Film industry for over twenty five years. I have have a C.V. & Production Credit List that reflects my rich and diverse experience at the highest production levels and includes Oscar & Bafta nominated films. Photography been a part of my life since boyhood days when I took my first picture at twelve years of age. I was instantly captivated. Photography became my passion and has defined my life.

As a professional I moved from Photography to Cinematography, drawn by the power of moving images. Working in Broadcast Television, I have filmed everything from News to Drama. I have witnessed many changes in the industry from production equipment to production methods. Trends come and go but the human desire to share a story never changes. As a Director of Photography I play a key role in the story telling process. It's a privileged position and one that constantly inspires, motivates and excites me, just like that first photograph from my boyhood.
